There have always been a different set of rules for fat cat Wall Street banksters. They can steal billions of dollars without even the slightest chance of a jail sentence. If you or me stole a loaf of bread from a store to feed a starving child we would be branded criminals and locked up. There is finally a way for the average U.S. citizen to enjoy the privileges of the privileged, the advantages of the advantaged. No one has ever gotten into trouble for placing an online bet on a sports event. The government has found ways to make it difficult to fund and withdraw from online sportsbooks though. While Americans wait for online gambling to be regulated in the USA there is one regulated gambling industry that the elite have been enjoying for years and now you can too. The 1% can legally place bets on everything from stocks to currencies to commodities. I’m not talking about buying stocks and hoping the value increases. I’m talking about the Kenneth Lay’s of the world placing on $10,000 bet on the price of Apple going up or down within the next hour. It is simply a wager but it is perfectly legal in the USA. The U.S. binary options regulations and laws say that this is not betting or gambling when obviously it is. The elite can gamble with our tax dollars but I can’t play in an online poker tournament on my day off. Go figure. Here is a Q&A about binary options in the USA in 2013.
Q. Is binary options legal in the USA?
A. Yes, you can bet on stocks, indices, currencies and commodities legally.
Q. What is the difference between betting on a basketball game and betting on a stock?
A. There is no difference, except that US binary options brokers are government back financial institutions.
Q. Why is online sports betting, poker and casino gambling not regulated when binary options betting is?
A. Binary options brokers and other financial betting companies use lobbying groups to buy Republican votes. The reason online gambling is not fully regulated in 2013 is the live horse betting industry, believe it or not. The UIGEA banned online poker in the USA in 2006. This act was added to a must-pass defense bill. Corrupt Republicans like Bill Frist and Jon Kyl were given a lot of money by the horse betting industry to do this. The Vegas casinos and other brick and mortar gambling companies have finally started backing online gambling regulations so things will change this year.
Q. I’m an American and I play poker and bet online all of the time. What are the benefits of binary options being regulated?
A. No one has ever been arrested for betting online but the U.S. government has made it very difficult for Americans to deposit money into and withdraw from online gambling accounts. They also target the actual US poker sites and gambling companies. A couple of years ago they seized the assets and domain names of the largest online poker sites (i.e. Pokerstars, Fulltilt Poker). Since binary options trading/betting is legal and regulated you will not have trouble funding your account and payouts are very quick.
Not all binary options brokers accept Americans. Permits are required and all of that. The top U.S binary options brokers in 2013 are government backed, licensed and NASDAQ certified. This provides an unbelievable amount of protection that online gamblers have never had before. The best binary options brokers for Americans are EZTrader and Global Option.
