I recently posted a review of the Paddy Power sportsbook and this one is about their arch-rival; Bet365. The sportsbook at Bet365 is 12 years old. Bet365 is probably the most recognized gambling brand in Europe. I live in the USA so I cannot say for sure but Bet365 is a name that just pops up time and time again, regardless of where you live. You might read about a record setting slot spin one day and a recording setting bingo jackpot the next. Bet365 is always in the news and it is usually the good kind of press. This Bet365 review will look at why this sportsbook is so popular. Like my Paddy Power review I will be starting off with the history of Bet365. Bet365 may have started off as a sportsbook but they are one of the top online casinos in the world today. They also run a large poker room, financial betting service, bingo hall and game site.
Bet365 grew up in a shack, literally. It all started with a family owned, portable betting shop, which the Coates family had been running since 1974. The Bet365 brand wasn’t actually founded until the year 2000 when they borrowed £15. Within a few years they had the Bet365.com website up and running. Bet365 was initially noteworthy because of their betting variety and options. One of the family members had developed a proprietary betting platform and they used it to accept action on a much wider range of sports than the average online bookmaker did at that time.
Since then Bet 365 has grown into a publicly traded company with over 2,000 employees. They are a household name in Europe, especially the United Kingdom. The Bet365 sportsbook was one of the first to offer live betting, also known as in-play betting. Live betting enables you to bet on things like the outcome of the next at-bat in baseball or the next play in football. It is fast paced and can be very profitable if you are good at gut instinct betting, since there really isn’t time to calculate odds or look at stats.
New sports bettors at the Bet365 sportsbook have quite a few bonuses and free bet offers to choose from. Bet365 usually has a special bonus for different types of punters. For instance, soccer bettors can claim up to a 100% bonus on Euro soccer bets. Bet365 also has a 100% mobile bonus for you smart phone users. There is also a free bet offer good for up to £200.
Are your neighbors fighting again? I’m sure Bet365 is accepting wagers on who wins. They really do have the best selection I have ever seen. The standard offerings like the major US and European sports are available obviously. Bet365 guarantees that their lines are the best so if you see better odds anywhere else they will match it. I will name a few oddball things that you can bet on at Bet365: volleyball, darts, virtual sports, Gaelic sports, badminton, netball, trotting and even things like surfing. They also offer financial betting.
